Plus getting here from the Railway Station on the tram was a breeze. Finally, you will find yourself people watching through the huge windows and, whether the canal or the city view, it’s brilliant seeing the world through this rare view from on high. Can’t recommend the hotel highly enough.
We stayed in the hotel for a couple of days. I really liked the hotel and the view from our room. But I need to be honest that on pictures looks much better.
Plenty of food and drink options available. The merchandise is very expensive to buy. Easily accessible from park & ride with regular buses on match days. Would definitely go back and watch more matches in the future.

Great stadium for cricket matches T20 finals, difficulty getting in on match day large queues but good facilities inside all roads closed so getting a taxi after game you have to walk to we’re the road is open and it’s very busy pre order if possible.
My down points are, could I hell find the T.V remote and I was too tired to get dressed and go down to reception, so it was a quiet night, which wasn't bad. The next morning, keeping an eye on time via the oversized clock on the wall, was actually wrong, not very helpful that. I only stayed one night and had breakfast there too, which was nice, no issues really. All in all, not a bad place indeed. ????
It's a good place to visit. We went to nandos and the serving staff were horrible with along wait time to get in to sit down.
I particularly appreciated the peaceful and clean ambiance. It provided a relaxing retreat after a long day. However, I did notice that the rooms could use a bit of refurbishment to match the high standard of the rest of the hotel.
Had a work conference and enjoyed the dinner party. Food was OK, large conference rooms and very nice staff.
